Dubbed 'Wallpaper' but branded W7, the TV is a giant 65-inch OLED that is just 2.57mm thick – making it one of the thinnest TVs to be produced. To keep the screen as narrow and close to the wall as possible, it is hung on the wall using magnets.
The 65-inch version is going to sell for a gut-wrenching $7,996 (about £6,370 or AU$10,590) while the 77-inch version will come in at a take-out-a-mortgage sale price of $19,996 (about £16,000 or AU$26,500).
LED TVs use LCD display technology and an LED backlight to illuminate the screen. ... OLED TVs tend to look best in a dim or darkened room. OLED TVs provide much wider viewing angles than LED TVs, which lose picture contrast and color as you move away from directly in front of the screen.
